Opioid Database Available

Johns Hopkins University has made available to the public an archive of millions of documents created by opioid manufacturers and related companies, hosted by the UCSF Library in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University.

The Opioid Industry Documents Archive was created by UCSF and Johns Hopkins University in 2021. It preserves and provides permanent public access to previously internal corporate documents released from opioid litigation and other sources. The documents shed light on the opioid industry during the height of the U.S. opioid crisis and on the need to preserve court records on topics important to public policy and public health.
